The best time to have one’s Italy travel depends greatly on the destination. Italy is blessed with a temperate climate because of its location between the sea and the Alps in the north. However, the weather still varies depending on how far or near one is from the sea and or the mountains. The northern regions near the Alps have very cold winter that is ideal for winter sports, like skiing. In the Po Plains and the central Apennines, winters are cold and foggy, while it was mild and warm near the coast of Naples and Sicily. During spring and autumn are the best time to visit the cities that are rich in art and culture.
